077 The Courage of Creating Space

It’s been two years since I began focusing on inner awareness, self love, and clarity of articulation. Those first few months were an extremely painful process of extracting the muck and grime that 20+ years of reactive busyness flooded me with. The type of work I was doing was highly Reactive and as hard as I tried to move that “c” to the front of the word, the most creative ideas I presented were far too often passed over by the mediocrity of the masses. I saw the world around me crowd and smother my latent talents so I began to write.

And write.

And write.

And, I’ve never looked back.

I’ve covered topics including creativity as healing, imagination as magic and vulnerability as the gift of courage. Writing has for me become the means to express every thought, every creation, without judgement, without shame. Now don’t let me mislead you into believing that this has been easy and/or lucrative. In fact, it’s some of the hardest work I’ve ever done. But I don’t regret a second of the time and energy invested. With hard work comes great enlightenment.

So today’s post is a celebration of sorts. A celebration of literally creating space. Of moving out of a 6500 square foot office building, back to the home office…until I find just the perfect creative space for the exciting changes in my personal and business needs.

With every move, every change comes a great purge. It’s the art of letting go!
